Sinking Statues
A 2 track folk-rock single (10m 48s) — released January 25th 2019 on None More Records
Jouis' brand new single Sinking Statues is a tight, riff-led track with entrancing harmonies, swirling synths and a spacious and punchy groove. The band's trademark blend of CSNY vocals, Canterbury scene prog and folk and infectious Rhodes led grooves are melded into a heady mix.
For the b-side, Pan-American disco bandoleros the Flying Mojito Bros deliver a killer refrito, taking Sinking Statues into a deep new realm of cosmic dub disco.
Jouis are a three piece from Brighton, UK comprising Joe Woodham (vocals, bass, guitars) Louis Pavlo (vocals, keyboard, synths and piano) and Adam Johnson (vocals, drums and percussion).
Sinking Statues is lifted from the forthcoming LP Mind Bahn out on None More Records in April 2019
