None More Records are very happy to present the second release in the None More Rollers series. Dancefloor focussed tunes with their usual splash of weirdness.
We're delighted to be continuing the series with some deep, dubby heat from Newcastle based producer Tibshelf. Drawing inspiration from some of his favourite producers like Lee Perry, RZA and Basic Channel, Tibself's almost 'plunderphonics' approach has delivered a killer, eclectic EP of weirdo, bass heavy rollers, just how we like it.
Kicking off the EP is 'Cruncher', a 100bpm chugger built around a lilting melody line and a big industrial beat, reminiscent of something the Sabres of Paradise might have turned out on Sabresonic II.
'Logic&Truth' is a dub techno banger aimed squarely at the bass bins. Squelchy percussive stabs puncture through the circling bass line and dystopian vocals.
Closing out the EP we have the first single 'Have Your Fun', a gritty, 90bpm, darkly Balearic roller. Twisted vocals weave in and out of a prime slice of dubby chug.
